What's your opinion about pitbulls?

What do you think about having a pit bull as a family pet?

  My opinion, I have nothing against it. I had a pit bull that loved kids, and would never do anything to hurt them, unfortunately we did have to get rid of her because we move to an apt that did not allow pit bulls... which i thought was very stupid. i think they are a wonderful guard dog for your house and family. not saying a guard dog as in they are great to hurt someone or something but they are loving and also dependable if something were to happen. Every one says O they are a horrible dog to have and Alot of places are banning them, but the real reason they are the "bully Breed" is because the way they are treated. Any dog can turn on its owner or any human being. Alot of dogs have a good way of judging people and who they are. i think that is also one reason they are the bully breed because people are scared around them or mean, its not fair to the dog nor the breed.

My opinion about your opinion.
Do your studying before you go out and buy a dog, there are all kind of attacks by other dogs just as much as there are of pit bulls. People need to stop stereo typing and start learning the wrong from right.

some proof:
A 10 Lbs Pomeranian killed a baby a few years ago... Obviously a problem with that particular dog, not the breed. "The baby's uncle left the infant and the dog on a bed while the uncle prepared her bottle in the kitchen. Upon his return, the dog was mauling the baby, who died shortly afterwards. Everyone think about this statement, Pit bull is not a breed but a "Type."
